North selected as finalist for Better Business Partnership Program

The North Delivery Team (NDT) is thrilled to announce that thanks to the work of our Environment Team, we have been selected as finalists for the Better Business Partnership (BBP) Program.

The BBP Program provides local businesses with resources and support to help them operate in a more sustainable way, with the goal of reducing environmental impacts and promoting a greener local economy. Program participants are provided with expert advice, training, and tools to improve their sustainability practices across areas such as waste management, energy and water efficiency, and sustainable procurement.

Our BBP Program submission highlighted some impressive achievements thanks to our Environment Team, some of which include the introduction and implementation of a robust environment and sustainability policy, successfully transitioning our Chatswood office to 100% green energy, significant reductions in waste, and environment and sustainability education.

Special thanks to our Environment & Sustainability Business Partner Emma Hale and Sustainability Advisor Erin Alley, who have been instrumental in leading and championing these initiatives. From reducing waste and single-use plastic consumption to promoting philanthropic initiatives, their efforts have been instrumental in achieving this recognition.

"I am incredibly proud of the team's work and their commitment to sustainability. We have achieved so much, and this recognition is a testament to our efforts,” Emma said.

"Securing a place in the BBP Program would be a significant achievement for the North, as it would recognize the team's efforts to operate sustainably and reduce its environmental impact.”

"It's an honor to be recognized for our efforts, and we hope that our work inspires other businesses to take sustainability seriously and make a positive impact on the environment," Erin added.

"We are grateful for the recognition and would like to thank the entire NDT Environment Team for their dedication and hard work."

A big thank you to the NDT Environment Team and best of luck to all the other BPP finalists. We're proud to be a part of this community of sustainable and forward-thinking businesses.
